Terms of use

These terms apply when you use FolioAI, provided by FolioAI in Australia. By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to them.

Accounts

You must provide an email you control, keep your password private, and be authorised to submit any information about a student. Accounts are intended for adults. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been misused.

Educational materials

FolioAI uses automated systems to generate original practice materials. Although answer checks are built into the process, generated content can contain mistakes or unsuitable wording. An adult should review a booklet before giving it to a student. FolioAI is not an official assessment body and is not endorsed by ACARA, ACER, SCSA, or any examination authority.

Credits and payment

A single booklet or exam paper uses one booklet credit. A term plan uses one credit per generated week. Credits are reserved when generation is requested and automatically returned if the job fails. Prices and included credits are displayed before Stripe Checkout. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts. They do not expire while the account remains active. Deleting an account permanently removes its unused credits, so contact support first if a payment issue is unresolved.

Refunds and Australian Consumer Law

A technical generation failure automatically returns the reserved credits. Report a materially incorrect, unsafe, unreadable, or substantially off-topic booklet within 14 days of generation. We will offer a no-charge replacement credit or supervised retry. If a replacement also fails, or the failure is major, we will offer the appropriate refund for the affected paid credit. We do not promise change-of-mind refunds after a credit has been used.

If a paid service is not supplied, materially faulty, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law, contact folioaitutorsyou@gmail.com. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Acceptable use

Do not probe or disrupt the service, automate account creation, evade usage safeguards, resell access, submit unlawful or infringing material, or use FolioAI to harm another person. We may suspend access needed to protect users or the service and will act reasonably when doing so.

Your generated booklets

You may use and print generated booklets for personal educational use with students you teach or care for. You are responsible for checking whether your inputs and intended use respect third-party rights. Do not imply that a generated booklet is an official paper or is endorsed by another body.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep FolioAI available but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every generation will succeed. To the extent permitted by law, FolioAI is supplied without additional guarantees beyond those expressly stated. Any liability that cannot be excluded remains subject to applicable law.
